In addition to nurturing us, our mother, Helen Pallas Timm, always encouraged us to continue our education. She graduated from ISU at a time when few women were able to attend college. She also has been an excellent citizen in our community, doing volunteer work in our church, Girl Scouts, 4-H and other organizations. Mom set a very good example for us and we would like to honor her in this way.
