Marion Weiss was recognized/honored by the Story County Women's Political Caucus in April 1980 for promoting community awareness of the problems of rape victims and better understanding between Christians and Jews -- by serving on three organization boards: the Sexual Assault Center, Planned Parenthood, and the Lay Theological Institute.
