Patricia attended Iowa State University from August 1984 through December 1986 and graduated from the college of Science and Humanities with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Patricia Renee Chizek was born August 12, 1964 in Britt, Iowa where she graduated from Britt High School in 1982 as valedictorian.
After graduation from ISU she used her degree for a career in the computer industry as a system support engineer. In 1988, she married another ISU graduate, Donald Charles Swanson. Don received a BS degree in Agriculture Business in May 1984. He is engaged in farming and has a career in the Agriculture Banking business. 7/1/96
