In honor of my mother who loved me understood me and stood by me. A woman who in spite of personal tragedies provided a home filled with love for her family and all those who she came in contact with. A mother who could listen with compassion repair hurts with a hug or a kiss a smile and a sternness that meant " don't let that happen again". Vivian Oakley Licklider was successful in the world of business but more than that she was a "World Class Mom". For all of the above and more Mom I dedicate this brick in the Carrie Chapman Catt Memorial to you.
