Iowa Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi and a 1948 Iowa State graduate. Her two daughters, Christine M. Pardekooper (1971) and Lynn C. Anderson (1977), are also Iowa State graduates. During the forty years she and her husband Kenneth 0. Anderson (ISU 1947) lived in Erie, Pennsyivania, she was an active volunteer serving as a school board member, county library board president, preschool director, and the state president of PEO. After retirement, the Andersons returned to Ames, where she continues in many volunteer positions.
