Frances A. Coover (1894-1980)--Wife of Mervin S. Coover, dean emeritus of the College of Engineering. All three of her children, Mervin P. Coover (1941), George B. Coover (1949), and Martha C. Anderson (1948), are graduates of Iowa State. Two of her granddaughters, Christine M. Anderson (1971) and Lynn C. Anderson (1977), are also Iowa State graduates.
