Fran Gill worked for the Physical Plant Department at ISU for several years. She retired in 1985. She befriended faculty and staff and was especially fond of the students she came to know. As the mother of six children and a grandmother she found it natural to develop nurturing relationships with these students. Fran loved travel history and crossword puzzles and she was an avid reader. She thrived in the stimulating intellectual environment of the university. Fran Gill added warmth kindness and friendship to ISU. Fran was my Mom. -Kathy Berrett
