It is hard to imagine the impact that Sara has had in my life in just a few short years. To stop and reflect brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. We met here at Iowa State in what some say was an unusual way. Not for two people that still find themselves in love. We started our lives together and our family before leaving this campus. We still discuss our many memories and share the full range of emotions that those circumstances required. I find it difficult to detail and express why it is important for Sara to be included in the Plaza of Heroines. Maybe that is the exact reason why. -Randy L. Hentzel
