This is a dedication to my best friend wife and heroine Lindy. I first met Lindy in the fall of 1964 not far from this building. I did not know it at that time but God had just smiled upon me. I thank Lindy for her love and understanding over the many years since we first met on that fall day in September of 1964. Lindy was born in Northern Minnesota to Richard F. Radway and Ruth Anderson Radway. Lindy has two sisters Kathleen Raykowski and Mary Ellen Stagner (ISU 1969). Lindy graduated from Iowa State University in 1967 with a BS degree in Home Economics Education. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. In March 1967 2 years after my graduation form ISU we married. We have two children Megan J. and Christopher (Chip) R. (ISU 1993).
In the 1980's Lindy went back to school at California State University at Northridge and became a clinical dietitian. She wanted to work in a field where she could help those in medical need. Lindy is a heroine to her family friends and patients. She is always there for us with much strength and love.
