Monica J. (Noonan) Kruse Iowa State University - Class of 1987 Carroll, Iowa Our mother Monica J. (Noonan) Kruse deserves recognition with the other women in the Plaza of Heroines. She is an exceptional woman who has given of herself so unselfishly to her family.
MOTHER - There is no title that can mean as much or that can say as much about a woman. There is no job that so directly impacts a woman a child a family a world. Mom you gave your family all of yourself when we needed you most. As we grew you held onto your dreams as tightly as you held onto our hands. After raising your children you found time to follow your dream of a college education.
When it was not as common as it is today you walked the Iowa State University halls and taught us yet another lesson - that education is the stuff that dreams are made of. We are all so proud of you - for nurturing eight children - for raising a family - for caring for others - and most of all for being true to yourself. Your way is a path for others to follow. We love you so much mom.
