Lois Pfaff

Lois Pfaff was born in 1927 to Glen and Myra Beeghley. She had three brothers and two sisters and lived in Aurelia, Iowa for her entire life. She married Louis Pfaff who served as postmaster in Aurelia for many years. Together they had three children Gary Ann and Dan. As a family they enjoyed fishing camping and traveling together. Lois's hobbies include painting and playing cards. She also enjoys being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has been active in the United Methodist Church in Aurelia Iowa as she has served on the Administrative Board and Finance Committee. She has worked as a Dental Hygienist for many years in Cherokee and Alta Iowa. Lois has ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her son Dan attended Iowa State University and two of her grand-daughters currently attend the University.

Throughout her life she has been an inspiration to both her children and grandchildren as she has encouraged higher education and supported them in all the endeavors they pursue. She is a friend and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be forever cherished by those who are close to her.
