Heidi is a young woman of great drive, superior academic achievement, talented in drama and a loving, sensitive human being. She is just beginning her adventure in life, but it is expected that she will make her mark in some social issue possibly justice and equality for women. Her preparation has been substantial as evidenced by an undergraduate degree in Latin American History from Princeton University, a second undergraduate degree in European History from Baliol College, Oxford, and a doctoral degree from Yale University in Latin American History. She has been honored many times with a variety of scholarships and is a Rhodes Scholar. Trilingual, including Spanish and Portuguese, she truly is a highly committed young woman, committed to social Issues and women’s issues. She uses intellect, personality, and dedication to hard work to achieve her goals and is a wonderful example of an Iowa woman who believes in equality for all.
