Our mother Katherine Erickson was born in 1923 and raised in southern Minnesota. She lives on a farm in northern Iowa where she has resided with our father Everett since their marriage in 1945. A devoted homemaker and mother she raised five children and a grandchild guided by the principles of faith good humor and common sense. By word and example she instilled in us a sense of responsibility integrity and perspective.
She taught us to appreciate the simple pleasures of everyday living to value hard work and to recognize that which is truly important- the love of family and friends. Through her unconditional love and support she has been and continues to be a wonderful source of strength and encouragement.
