Dorothy Grace Alger was a hard-working, fun-loving farmer from Dickens, Iowa, and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She would do anything to help anyone and had such a big heart full of love for her family. She remained young-at-heart throughout her life and had her first taste of travel outside the United States at the age of 82, when she visited New Zealand, where her granddaughter was living at the time. She was happiest when on an open-air tractor or feeding the cattle and lived on her farm until her death. She is loved and missed by so many.
