Our mom, Suada Zulic, is a source of constant inspiration in our lives. Overcoming extreme obstacles and a war-torn country to move to the United States, all for the purpose of ensuring her children had the best opportunities possible. She frequently worked two or more jobs to support her family, all while somehow managing to be a caring, present, and loving mother and wife. Through her, we learned the importance of hard work, persistence, and above all, education. She instilled in us a love of learning and always encouraged our academic pursuits. Her ever-present support and guidance is the thread which enables us to weave our own tapestries and forge our own journeys.
