Sarvinder Kaur Naberhaus moved to Ames, Iowa, when she was almost four years old, from Hisar, India. She attended Iowa State University and graduated with a master’s degree in education. Sarvinder currently teaches a technology course at Iowa State, where her husband and three children all attended. Sarvinder enjoys writing and has currently published four books, including the critically acclaimed picture book "Blue Sky White Stars." The book is a tribute to what it means to be American. Sarvinder always dreams big and remains a role model of a wife and mother.
