With the support of her family we dedicate this tribute in the Plaza of Heroines to a woman who quietly, but powerfully, enriched and shaped our lives: Arlene Ann (Svoboda) Erusha.
She was a dignified woman, devoted to family, who fully shared her life with grace, a strong Catholic faith, and a love of all things Iowa State Cyclones. She taught that to truly be called a supporter of something meant being “in the seats” and actively involved even if the weather or the team didn’t cooperate.
If her contribution to the world were measured by the success, generosity and happiness of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and all those fortunate to know her, it would be a truly incredible sight.
