Dr. Stacy A. Cordery is a historian of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era. She focuses primarily on path-breaking, ambitious women, and on the Roosevelt family. Cordery has written books about Alice Roosevelt Longworth, Juliette Gordon Low, and Theodore Roosevelt. Her forthcoming book is "Becoming Elizabeth Arden: The Woman & Her Global Cosmetics Empire." As a professor of history at Iowa State University, Cordery has been a passionate mentor for undergraduate students. She works tirelessly to advocate for her students and ensure they have the brightest futures possible. She is an extraordinary woman, scholar, and mentor; and Iowa State University is all the better for her presence on campus.
