Betty Ann (Goodhue) Keeney is one of those woman leaders who lights up one's life in any and all situations. A tender, giving person who came from true Iowa farm blood, she achieved great leadership at Middleton High School, Middleton, Wisconsin. Betty used her great training in home economics at Iowa State to teach 23 years of students at the high school much of what there is to know of how to live a successful life. During this time, she raised two wonderful daughters, also honored in the Plaza. She now works in Ames with many volunteer groups and spreads her cheer, caring and love among many of those in the community and elsewhere. Betty is a heroine in the truest sense. So many lives have been affected positively by her caring and giving. She will be greatly honored to have her name in the Plaza.
