Barbara Sanderson

We honor our mom, Barbara Sanderson. From the moment she entered our lives, Barb embraced us with open arms and became a source of unwavering love, support, and encouragement. As we came to know her, we discovered a woman of remarkable strength, confidence, compassion, and generosity. We often reflect on how fortunate we are that Barb became part of our family. As anyone who knows her can attest, Barb is a devoted Iowa State Cyclone fan. Since meeting her, we've attended more Iowa State sporting events than we ever thought possible and have witnessed firsthand her unwavering passion for the university and its athletic programs. Through her, we've come to appreciate not only Iowa State, but also the sense of community and pride it inspires. This brick commemorates and celebrates a truly remarkable woman. It also celebrates the greatest gift she ever gave us—making us her children through adoption and choosing to become our forever family. Mom, we love you. Thank you for choosing us.
