We three daughters of A. Jeannette (Schleiter) Schroeder wish to pay special honor to our mother. Daughter of Lydia and Frank H. Schleiter (Mech Eng, 1895), she graduated from Iowa State (HEc, 1922). In July 1923 she married Henry E. Schoeder (Animal Husbandry, 1922).
She was a loving, gentle lady and a gracious example for her three daughters and three granddaughters, as well as four grandsons. She was a homemaker with special talent for poetry, flowers, wonderful food, and gracious living, all served with a delightful sense of humor and love.
Mother died January 5, 1992, at age 90. She and Henry were married for 66 years and had lived in Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Arizona during their life together.
