Alma Lydia Gonzalez graduated as a registered nurse in the Winter of 2011 from Black Hawk Community College located in Moline, IL. Alma later pursued her Bachelor's in Nursing from Western Governor's University and graduated in 2017. Alma's late father has been her biggest motivation and inspiration in following her dreams in the medical field. As of January 2021, Alma is a proud Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse for Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, IA. Additionally, Alma continues to dedicate a portion of her time to her local community by continuing her work as a Pediatric Nurse for Trinity Hospital. Alma's passion for her work clearly shows, she is not only a positive impact within her line of work but within her respective community of color. Alma dedicates herself and strives to be the very best nurse possible. Eres un orgullo Hispano Alma and we are so proud of you!
