My mom has always been a source of strength and comfort for our family. She, along with my dad, raised three boys, which I know was no easy task. A successful career woman, my mom impressed upon her children the value of hard work and higher education, making sure that all three of her children completed their college education. Always my biggest supporter and often my toughest critic, she didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear but she always told me what I needed to hear. Now in her 80’s, she and my dad have been married for more than 60 years and she continues to maintain an active lifestyle. Her unconditional love and support continues to serves as a foundation in my life as an adult and parent, and I feel truly blessed to have her in my life.
