Margaret Ann McWilliams Moorman was born in Ames, Iowa November 26, 1948 to Richard M. McWilliams ISU 1938 and Margaret Jeffries McWilliams ISU 1939. Her family moved to Quincy, Illinois in 1957. Ann attended grade school there graduating from Quincy High School in 1967. She attended Central College Pella, Iowa for two years and graduated from Iowa State University in 1971 (degree in American History and Political Science). July 10, 1970 she was united in marriage to James C. Moorman ISU 1972. They with two children Aaron Patrick and Elizabeth Eileen live in Schaumburg, Illinois. Her husband James is with Motorola in Schaumburg, Illinois.
