Ann (Seidel) Hinds was born April 22, 1953 in Ames and spent her childhood there. She attended Simpson College then graduated from ISU in 1976 with a B. S. in Institution Management. In 1985 she earned an MS in Information Systems from the College of Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston MA. In 1977 she married James E. Hinds. They live in Quincy MA in a beautifully refurbished turn of the century home. Much of the interior design and some of the work was done by Ann and Jim. Ann was employed by Northeastern University as a secretary. She later worked as a Word Processing Specialist/Trainer for Northeastern and for law firms in Boston. Currently she works as a Legal Secretary. Ann has been very active in her church First Baptist of Wollaston where she sings in the choir. Her interests are quilting baking gardening reading otters and husband nurturing.
