To honor my mother, who was born in 1915, grew up on an Iowa farm during the 20's and 30's raised her family (6 children on an Iowa farm) during the 40's 50's and 60's and is still active in the community and church groups today. She supported us in all our activities as a 4-H leader driving us to piano lessons, basketball practice and other school and church functions and attending all our activities. She was there for us in everything we did, worrying more than she needed to, but always wanting the best for us. She also taught us about giving to others as she still does today.
