Mother was the daughter of Edgar Stanton - Dean Stanton - class of 1872 and Julia Stanton. Mother was raised on the ISU campus and her home was The Maples. She loved Iowa State and the Bells which were named for her father and first wife. Mother was born in Ames, Iowa in 1904 and graduated from ISU in 1926 with a BS in Business. She died in her home in Grand Lake, Colorado in 1987.
