It is difficult to put a label on Barbara for she is truly a women with many facets. If given the task of choosing one aspect of her life that is most obvious to all who meet her, I would choose her unswerving desire to help others. Most of her adult life, beginning with teaching and continuing over to help in guiding the lives of adolescents through difficult emotional times, she has steadfastly strived to make the lives of each person she meets better. The world is truly a better place because of Barbara.
