My daughter Becky is my heroine because she's the first person in my family to earn a college degree. She did what I should have done. She was born in Pammel Court learned to walk on the college campus and practiced going up and down steps at Morrill Beardshear and Botany (soon to be Catt) Halls. Following graduation from ISU in 1975 she was hired at the University Library. She works in Special Collections where by coincidence the library keeps information concerning Carrie Chapman Catt. Becky has devoted herself to the University in her work and in her support of ISU athletics.
