We have nominated our mother Belva Jeane Taylor Eldridge for the C. C. C. Plaza of Heroines because we feel she epitomizes a true paragon. She has dedicated her life to helping others through her nursing career and roles as wife, mother and friend.

Mom was a first-rate pediatric nurse prior to becoming wife and mother. The personal attributes that contributed to her successful career in the hospital have also been bestowed upon her family. She always puts others needs first and feels no sacrifice is too great if it will lighten someone else's burden. She shows great love and compassion for her family, making them the priority of her life.

While moving all over the country as the wife of a career Air Force officer Mom was always able to execute the moves without disrupting our lives making each new house our home. Now that we are adults and raising our own families we can look back and better appreciate all that she did for us.

We were raised in a happy secure home and given the confidence determination and abilities to accomplish any goal we set. We are always certain of love and support as well as a sympathetic ear a friendly smile or a hearty laugh as needed. We can think of no better role model to have had and aspire to duplicate her nuturing qualities in our lives and the lives of our children.

Thank you for all you've done Mom! All our Love- Kristey, Jay and Kathleen.
