The English Department wants to honor Billie Green for her 14 years of service as our Freshman Composition secretary. We wish her a very happy retirement after February 27 1998. Thoughts on retiring after 65 years in the world the last 18 at Iowa State University: All women are heroes. I survived World War II the 50's Civil Rights assassination anti-war protests Women's Liberation consciousness raising backlash trickle down cyberspace virtual reality cloning and the old old constant white men in suits.
