Catherine (Bravender) Clifford was born in Swea City, Iowa on 8/31/1913. She was a graduate of Iowa State University in Home Economics. She married Mark Clifford and lived her adult life in Spencer, Iowa. They had one son, Timothy. Catherine died on 4/18/87 in Mercedes, Texas where she spent her winter months during retirement. She is buried in Armstrong, Iowa.
