I am honoring my mother because she has been the driving force in my personal journey for a good education at Iowa State University. She graduated from ISU in 1995, to be an example for my sons and for me to look up to. It took her many years to complete her education but she succeeded despite her many disabilities. I will be the second generation to graduate from ISU and hope my sons will be the third generation.
