Teaching encompassed my mother's life. Whether is was a group of rowdy 4th graders, a crowded basement room full of freshman engineers, or a middle-aged electrician learning to read for the first time; my mother always gave her all and left her students with not only knowledge, but the desire to learn more. She certainly gave me the courage and conviction to become a parent dedicated to instilling the love of learning in my children.
