Florence Quist graduated from Iowa State in 1918. She was a charter member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Her husband, John Quist, graduated in 1917 and was with the Extension Department at Iowa State. Florence Quist celebrated her 100th birthday on December 24, 1994 and died shortly thereafter. She wrote an extensive family history in her later years.
