We are honoring our mother, Gladys Ruth Wheelock nee Gaard, for the amazing woman she is. She made the act of managing a household and raising six children seem effortless. She has faced great loss with strength and courage, moving from homemaker to the workplace while still caring for her children and making a home. She demonstrates unconditional love, accepting all the changes and turmoil a life with six children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren can bring. She has faced illness with grace and an ability to live one day at a time, teaching us the value of cherishing the moment. We love you, mom.
