Helen Mae (Sharp) Heun was born July 16, 1930 has become a very successful business-woman as well as being a leader in every community where she has lived; and she has received many honors. Even in Green Mountain Grade School she was selected to play the part of a child when one was needed in a Green mountain High School play or musical.

In Green Mountain High School: Selected by the AAUW of Marshalltown, IA to paint with them at the Fisher Community Art Center. Drum Major of the Green Mountain HS Marching Band. Member of GY Girls - Marshalltowns YWCA Member of Green Mountain Girls BB Team Education.

Heun CRB GRI has been in real estate since 1969 receiving her broker's license in 1972 and joining TAR in 1972.

Helen opened the first Tucson office of Realty Executives in 1973 directing the growth of 6 offices in Tucson and one in Green Valley AZ. She is the past Director of Tar and AAR and has just been appointed to serve an additional year as an AAR Director. She has served on the Education Committee Library Committee chair of the REALTOR United Way Committee vice Chair of Professional Standards and a Mediator for three years.. As an AAR director Helen served on the Legal Hot Line implementation task force and AAR CEO selection committee.

She is also active in the Women's Council of REALTORS serving as Treasurer and President. Helen's winning attitude is inspirational to everyone at the Association. (12/25/94) Helen was the first lady invited to join a Kiwanis Club in Tucson where she has served as Director. She also serves on the Vestry of St. Philips Episcopal Church of Tucson, Arizona. I, her mother, am very proud of her because she manages everything so well - her home - her business and raised four very successful children.

Her children are W.W. Heun architect; Monica (Heun) Roslow, Pres. of Roslow Research Group Inc; Jackie (Heun) Dukes, appraiser and (Chad) Joseph Heun, missionary in Nicaragua, Central America.
