Ilene Marie Carlson

Ilene Marie Carlson was born in Ames, IA where she currently resides. She graduated from United Community High School, and attended Iowa State University in the mid 1960s. She has been associated with the Dairy Science Department of ISU for twenty three years. Ilene has been honored twice by having The Dairy Science Yearbook dedicated to her. Ilene has traveled widely in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean Islands, The Orient, and Australia. She, and her husband Douglas, both have a special interest in England.  Her favorite pastimes are reading and doing counted cross stitch, and she also has religious training in the Lutheran Church
