I would like to honor JoAnn Higgins for the contributions she has made to her family and community. She graduated from ISU in 1955 in Home Economics Education. She has served as: 4-H Leader - 13 years; Family and Consumer Science Alumni Board - 3 years; Church Financial Secretary - 10 years; Secretary-Treasurer Higgins Oakcrest Farms - 28 years; Home Economics Teacher; Free Lance Home Economist; Community Volunteer. In 1956 she married Robert Higgins a 1955 ISU Agronomy graduate. She has four children Mary Jo Holly Rebecca and Mark who are all college graduates.
