Jo is a very speical person -- handy and creative, a wonderful cook, and great with needlework. She makes clothes and blankets for her grandchildren. She could have been a world-famous botanist because she knows all about plants, flowers, and trees. But she puts family first, loving and supporting her family in every way, every day.

Born July 3, 1932 in Austin, MN. Grew up in Cedar Falls, IA. Graduated with B. S. in Home Economics from ISU in 1954. Married, 4 children. Homemaker. Lives in Bettendorf. Charter member of Mississippi Valley chapter of Embroiders' Guild of America. Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Grows violets. Avid gardener and birdwatcher.
