Joyce Keller Huff has spent her life assisting individuals and families in improving their quality of life. She graduated in Home Economics Education in 1972 from Iowa State University and received her Masters of Science in Education in 1988. After teaching for four years at Garwin Community School she was a free lance home economist for three years so she could spend more time with her son Joe born in 1974 and daughter Janis born in 1976. Joyce started teaching at Marshalltown High School in 1979.

She received The l983-84 Home Economics' Teacher of the Year for her work with teen parents. The Marshalltown Teen Parent Program which she directed was also chosen as a model program by The National Diffusion Network. In 1993 she started the White Ribbon Teen Pregnancy Prevention Campaign. She is a lifetime member of the ISU Alumni Association The American Home Economics Association and AAUW. Joyce has served on many state and local committees and boards including the Governor’s Adolescent Task Force and as an I.S.U. Legislative Contact Person. She has recently joined her husband Dennis I. AD.72 of 25 years in Hermann Missouri where she is starting her own consulting and training business and continuing her education.
