These are a few reasons why I feel my mother’s name should be added to a brick on the Plaza of Heroines.
First, my mother has been a wonderful mother and has guided and directed me to accomplish my goals in life.
Second, she has always been and always, will be an awesome role-model. As a mother, Elementary School Teacher, Speech Therapist, Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and P.T.A. Officer, she has helped many people to live good, healthy lives.
Lastly, my mother has trained me well. I love school. Later I intend to go to Iowa State University too, following in the steps of my Mother, Uncle, Grandmother, Grandfather, and a recent student at your college, Jess Boysen, my cousin. (My Grandmother, Dorothy Boysen has a brick too!)
