For her marvelous and wonderful love of life, her positive outlook, her enthusiasm for the accomplishments of others, and her basic belief in the goodness of people. Opal LaRue Parkhill born on a farm near Oakland, Iowa. Her life has been dedicated to helping others, especially her parents, her husband, and her children - Warren Eugene Clark, Karen Louise Clark Frei, and Susan Clark Fonseca. LaRue graduated from Oakland High school and from Iowa State University (science). She taught science in high schools in Palmer, Iowa and in Kanawha, Iowa, the home of her husband, Martin Clark.
