Laura (2-4-52) is honored for her commitments to education and health. She earned her BS in social work and University of Northern Iowa (1974). She has contributed to the health and welfare of persons through her work with the Iowa Department of Corrections, the U.S. Army, and in civil service at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, Army Community Services. She is married to John Herro has a daughter, Amanda Laurene, and is involved in church and community activities.
