Lena Louise Wemer Boehm received a degree in textiles and clothing from Iowa State University in 1946. She was married to Harold J. Boehm, who received a degree in engineering from Iowa State University in 1949. Lena and Harold had seven children who honor their mother for her many years of loving and gentle persuasion.
