Born in Des Moines Iowa in 1943 Leslie Ann Pomerantz is being honored as a remarkable woman who has contributed significantly to her students community friends and family. As a teacher in Michigan for 25 years Leslie was committed to academic excellence and a quality education for all people. She enriched the lives of students by assisting them to learn about the mysteries of life and the world through the discovery of knowledge. She has provided ongoing service to enhance the lives of people in her own community of Des Moines.
Her love, support and generosity to her family and friends exemplify her devotion and loyalty as a daughter sister aunt and friend. It is a privilege to recognize Leslie as a heroine among women.
