Lillis Clark Brackett is a mother, a teacher, and a friend. She taught her children to be independent, to enjoy reading, to work hard, and to respect other people's freedoms. She helped them all by giving them her time, money, and energy. She encouraged each of her children to find something they enjoyed doing and to find someone special to do it with so they would have long-lasting happiness.
