In a time when ladies her age were not encouraged to be individuals or liberated thinkers my mother was! She also always encouraged me. I never realized there were occupations that were closed to "young ladies" my age. So I grew up thinking "all things are possible!" If I wanted to work in that direction. She also loved the ISU Campus and encouraged my attendance and graduation!
