"To be capable of steady friendship and lasting love, are the two greatest proofs not only of goodness of heart, but of strength of mind."
-William Hazlitt

In honor of Lori Jean Wendell Dutcher, the inscribed stone is dedicated with the hope that her kindness, courage, and integrity will be an inspiration to those of the future. At her foundation, she is a loving wife, a dedicated mother, and a great hearted friend. Her strength of character has enabled her to stand up for what she believes in.

On April 17, 1996 the Iowa Supreme Court handled its first case involving the Federal Equal Pay Act. In favor of Lori J. Dutcher the court found her employer in violation of the Equal Pay Act and the Iowa Civil Rights Act. As with each and every victory in this life a price was paid. Lori this is merely a "THANKS" for taking responsibility, feeling the strength of your convictions and loving faithfully.
