Lyana Enid Seda lives a dedicated compassionate life with her family of five. After graduating with a degree in Statistics from the University of Puerto Rico, she moved to Washington D.C. offering her hard work and brilliant mind to a job with the US government. When she married and had her first child, she decided to devote her life to motherhood and her family. Thirty years, four moves, and three states later, Lyana decided to return to university studies to pursue a passionate career in interior design. She has inspired many people in her life including her devoted husband and three loving children, two of which proudly graduate from Iowa State University. Now, as she shares her 50th year with Iowa State University's 150th we are proud to honor a woman who made - and is still making - an inspiring influence in our lives. We love you, Mama.
